Colleen Macey, founder of Santa Barbara Interiors, has spent 25 years designing spaces across almost every kind of American setting — a 200-year-old barn, a Manhattan penthouse, a Colorado ranch, a desert casita. A graduate of the New York School of Interior Design, she brings formal training and real-world range to every project.

She has a gift for reading a client’s taste and elevating it into something that surprises even them.

Santa Barbara Interiors offers full-service interior design, custom cabinetry, window coverings, and furniture — managed end to end, from initial concept through installation. On the build side, Thomas Mehling brings 20 years of crafting custom interiors in to his role leading the cabinet and construction team.

Together, they cover design, cabinetry, window coverings, furniture, and installation.
